The Engaged Wedding Library is definitely the first step anyone should take when they get engaged. The first thing that made me feel less stressed and more excited about the planning process was just the fact that I was welcomed with a big smile and excitement! From there, I felt like (for the first time since I've been engaged) I knew which step to take next. It definitely took away my overwhelmed feeling and made me so excited for the next steps in planning my wedding. LOVED IT!!!

Stephanie and Katie were so helpful and really went out of their way to help my fiance and I get our plans started. I felt overwhelmed with all of the options in Birmingham, but they really helped up narrow down certain venues very specific to our desires. Both of them are so quick to give encouragement and honest opinions. They are so personable and so sweet that you just might forget that you're planning a wedding and end up staying there to talk with them!

They truly know the ins & outs of Birmingham and other Alabama wedding details. I feel so much more prepared and equipped after visiting. Before I went to Engaged I was SO extremely overwhelmed with wedding planning. Going to college and planning a wedding at the same time probably wasnt the best idea i have had but we are making it now thanks to Engaged! Katie is a miracle worker, she sat me down went through detail by detail & gave me 3 or 4 BIG things to take care of and then said after that we could start working on the smaller things! You don't need a wedding planner if you go to engaged! These people are the best! & what's better than FREE? (:

I was the bride who got engaged & was immediately overwhelmed with all of the to-do lists of wedding planning. But I took my happy self to Engaged & left feeling like I could conquer the world...well, at least the wedding planning world. Katie, Stephanie, and Shae were so wonderful to work with. They offered genuine advice & genuine kindness. They know many different vendors in and around Birmingham. No question was unanswered. No situation was too strange. Looking back over my engagement, I know that there is no way I could have done it without Katie and the ladies at Engaged. I would recommend going to Engaged to any person planning a wedding. It is a great place to start looking for a venue and all types of wedding vendors. At Engaged, I was able to look through albums and portfolios in order to get an idea of which venue and other vendors were my style. Katie and the ladies at Engaged were also able to help me with my budget and figure out which vendors I could afford. They recommended reputable vendors and even helped me set up appointments. Everyone was so friendly and professional; they really helped make our engagement and wedding even more wonderful! I can’t thank them enough!!

My husband and I stopped by Engaged right after our engagement (of course) and were so pleased with the responsiveness of the ladies working there. The resources and information we got while we were there was so helpful. It was such a relief to have somewhere to go where I wasn't being pressured to spend money, but I could just hear about my options and collect information. I went to Engaged wedding library not too long after I got engaged. I needed some help, because I needed to get a lot planned for my wedding in just a few short weeks as i was leaving for New Zealand for the next 10 months. (I'm writing this from New Zealand) Katie helped me so much. I had no idea where to start my search for vendors. She asked me key questions and helped me narrow down a few vendors for several categories including a photographer, florist, and entertainment group. She listned to what I had to say and then gave suggestions. She was so kind and very enthusiastic. I gained a lot of very valuable information by going and the best part it was free. I would highly recommend going to Engaged Wedding library before starting your planning.

This experience with Engaged library has been surreal. It has been everything we ever wanted and more. My fiance found this place from the WeddingGuide magazine. From the very beginning, Katie and her coworkers have made the engaged process exciting, stress-free, and absolutely a rememberable time in our lives. Just to name a few things our venue, photographer, attire, perserving of my bouquet, style of our wedding, and budget friendly tips have all come from Engaged Library. We learned careful planning tips from the bridal show that Engaged Library hosted. Plus, just for attending and being interested at the bridal show we ended up winning a Honeymoon! Who can top that?
